What a couple of weeks it has been. Between bringing the book into the world, enjoying the last days of summer, and getting my kids back to school, my head has been spinning. My friends keep asking me if I feel different now that it’s out there. Hmmm…. I don’t really feel different after my books are released. It’s deeply gratifying to know that something you “made” is now out there for public consumption. And it is really fun to find it in a book store, giggle hysterically, and run out without telling anyone I’m the author. It also makes my day to see friends and complete strangers cooking from it and sharing what they’ve made on social media. It’s crazy to think there are people I don’t know cooking from the book! That warms my heart.
So now, things are getting back to normal and it’s time to celebrate! I am slowly making my way out into the world to share it with you all, and I hope you’ll come join me. First stop? The San Francisco Ferry Plaza on Saturday, 8/24 at 10:30 am. Then I hit the road and come down to Manhattan Beach on Thursday, 8/29 at 6 pm. The Manhattan Beach event is ticketed, so make sure to purchase one now if you’d like to join me! I’d love to see all of my Los Angeles friends there!
After these two events, I’ll be back to do a local event right here in my hometown in September. More to come on that one.
In the meantime, please share everything you’re cooking with me out of The Vibrant Life by tagging me on Instagram. I love it!
Hope to meet you soon!
