WHAT IF I TOLD YOU I DON’T BELIEVE IN BIG, SWEEPING RESOLUTIONS?

You know the ones…the ones where you tell yourself things like, “Starting tomorrow, I’m going to stop eating garbage; do yoga 4 times a week; journal every morning; and get 8 hours of sleep every night!”  I used to play that game all the time until I finally admitted it didn’t work.  Plus, it left me feeling like a big ol’ failure–like I had zero willpower.   

Then two years ago, I decided to give up alcohol and it completely changed my approach to forming new habits. Why do I think it worked? I chose one thing I wanted to change-not a thousand-and then I connected with people who shared the same goal.  

Drinking alcohol was certainly not the only habit I’ve wanted to change for my well-being, So now, after riding the waves of success for so long, I’ve chosen another habit I’d like to change: I want to stop eating refined sugar. And this time, I’m smart enough to know I need to have the tools in place to make such a big change stick.  So how about this?

Maybe you want to try being free of gluten, or dairy, or alcohol–it doesn’t have to be sugar. It can be anything that you think might be holding you back from feeling your best.  No matter which one you choose, I’m going support you with an arsenal of tools to make it as easy as possible to make it stick!

Research shows that it takes 28 days to form a new habit, so we’re going to spend 28 days together!  Because I am doing this myself in real time, I’ve developed a holistic plan that holds me accountable every day while also providing me with the recipes and ingredients I need to eliminate the question of “What should I eat next?” so I am not left ordering takeout or running to the store for my favorite ice cream.

I have spent hours working on this offering for all of us, in hopes that it is exactly what you need to create lasting change in your life that will leave you feeling your best physically while renewing confidence in your own ability to change.

Daily sessions kick off on Sunday, February 4th and we’ll wrap it up and celebrate our successes on Saturday, March 2nd.

The recipes will focus on being simple and quick to prepare, yet loaded with as much nutritional value as possible!  Most of them can be made on the spot, but a few recipes each week can be made ahead in order to save you time and energy throughout the week.

  • Greek Yogurt with Cinnamon-Spiced Pumpkin Seeds, Almonds and Honey
  • Greek Chicken Wraps with Tzatziki 
  • Pumpkin Butter-Spiced Oatmeal with Toasted Walnuts
  • Coconut-Thai Fish in Parchment with Winter Vegetables
  • Chopped Kale Salad with Walnuts, Green Onions, and Toasted Walnuts
  • Country Captain’s Chicken 
  • The Everyday Chopped Salad

Recipes and shopping lists will be sent to you the Friday before the week.

FAQ

How much is the workshop?

This a la carte workshop is a one-time payment of $29 (that evens out to about $1 a day– less than my daily trip to the coffee shop!)

Are groceries included?

Groceries are not included in the price of the class. All participants will receive a list of the ingredients that I will be cooking with that week. The recipes are adaptable and you can purchase your groceries to meet your lifestyle.

Can I join if I am a House of Haas member?

Absolutely! Please note, that this specialty workshop is separate from House of Haas subscriptions and will need to be purchased separately.

Are all classes virtual?

Yes! This workshop is 100% virtual. If you are interested in booking Amanda for an in-person event, you can learn more here.

What if I can't make a class?

All attendees will receive the class replay within a few days after the class! And if there are specific questions you’d like to make sure Amanda answers for you, you can always email us ahead of time at hello@amandahaascooks.com and we will answer them live or email you with a response!

WHAT YOU’LL GET

Daily Live Sessions

15-minute “mindful mornings” in the mornings Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to ground ourselves for the day, and then 30-minute “keeping up in the kitchen” segments on Monday and Wednesday with me in the afternoons for a cooking demo or two and a chance to check in with each other and see how our day is going. We also meet on Sundays for weekly kick-offs to chat about meal planning and the kick off. Recordings will be available if you can’t attend.

Shopping List

A curated shopping list that provides you with every ingredient we’ll be using throughout the month.  (Note: It will be free of refined sugar, gluten, alcohol, and most dairy already, so all you have to do is follow along!)

Because I still want to be Oprah, there will be incredible giveaways throughout the 28 days.

Recipes

All of the recipes I’ll be using throughout each week.  Note: Some meals will be extra simple and won’t have a recipe at all, like “Greek Yogurt with Pumpkin Seeds, Walnuts, and a squeeze of honey.” But if anything requires real cooking, you’ll receive the recipe and some real instruction in our afternoon demos.

Weekly workbooks

A calendar with all of the times we’re meeting during the month, along with supplemental content including journal prompts, tips for grounding yourself, and research on forming new habits.

Meal Plans

A weekly menu that shows you every dang thing I’ll be eating and cooking during the week. (Note: Most of these recipes will be for one serving but are easily scaled up to serve more.  And if I share a recipe that serves 4-6, we’ll use it more than once throughout the week.)
