Strawberries rock. Loaded with vitamin C, folate, potassium, fiber, magnesium, and a ton of other good-for-you things, they aid in brain function and protect against high blood pressure, arthritis, gout, cardiovascular disease, and more. I’ve always loved the combination of strawberries and basil, and this smoothie is no exception. The basil adds a high note that will start your day off right. (And don’t forget, herbs like basil are also loaded with anti-inflammatory and disease-fighting antioxidants.) Who knew a smoothie could taste so good and make you feel so good at the same time?
